Liz Turner
Founder of House of Hope Midwest

Liz Turner is the founder of House of Hope KC, where she leads with vision, strategy, and compassion to create measurable impact in the lives of individuals and families across Kansas City. Known as a dynamic communicator and innovative leader, Liz has a unique ability to envision the future- taking big ideas and turning them into practical, effective systems that meet real needs.

Her approach is rooted in service, innovation, and a genuine desire to see lives transformed in meaningful and sustainable ways.

Under her leadership, House of Hope has grown into a trusted community resource, providing essential support while creating dignified, high-quality environments where people are seen, valued, and cared for.

At the core of Liz’s work is a deeply personal conviction that people’s past and present circumstances do not have to define their future. She is passionate about building bridges that help individuals realize and commit to their own potential, moving out of survival and into a thriving, hope-filled life. By creating spaces where essential needs are met and barriers are removed, Liz is committed to helping people take a breath, regain perspective, and begin moving forward. Her work is fueled by a deep belief in people’s potential and a relentless focus on helping individuals and families break cycles, rebuild confidence, and step into new possibilities.

She is a devoted wife to her husband Kyle and a loving mother to their three children — Blaire, Graham, and Goldie — and is deeply passionate about building both strong families and stronger futures for the communities she serves.
