House of Hope KC was founded by Liz Turner in February 2020. After years of pastoring in Kansas City, Liz felt a deep conviction to create a space dedicated specifically to helping individuals and families move beyond survival and toward lasting change. What was originally planned for later in the year was launched early, just weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
From its beginning in a warehouse space in North Kansas City, House of Hope quickly became a place of practical support and dignity for thousands of families. Today, the mission continues to reflect Liz Turner’s original vision: providing a hand up to a hope-filled future.
